How Can severe Swollen Lymph Nodes In The Neck Be Treated?

the lymph nodes in neck are swollen. I am having pain in my jaw and teeth. I have had 2 abt shots and 2 steroid shots in the last 2 1/2 weeks. I took a z pack, prednisone 10 mg X 5 days, then I took 3 days of amoxcillin 500 tid for 3 days I am now taking augmentin 875 mg. the pain continues to increase. they said i had a ear infection in my left ear. I have taking my Norco ( this is for my arthritis and Fibromyalgia) It is giving me no releif I am really not suppose to take nsaids due to previous ulcers but I have to see if it might help with the swelling and pain.... nothing Could this be something else?

Thanks for the query..

Yes, I can understand that in case if you are unable to take NSAID's due to peptic ulcers then you have to rely on narcotic painkillers to relieve pain caused due to swollen lymph nodes..
Trust me that narcotic painkillers like Tramadol are strong enough to control severe pain episodes and you can very much take them under supervision of your Physician..
You can also take analgesic injection for pain relief if oral doses does not help..
Also you should do cool compresses over the lymph nodes to reduce heat, inflammation that will ultimately reduce pain..
If it is due to ear infection then antibiotic and analgesic ear drops can be of great help along with oral medicines..
